| The tech' offers most of the subjects available at GCSE and 'A' level on a
part time evening class basis. Other departments deal with Engineering,
Computing, Hairdressing, Catering etc. The non-vocational type of training
such as conversational language classes, keep fit etc... are usually run
in one of the several adult education centres scattered throughout the
town.
If you pop in to the Adult education office on Worting Rd they'll give you
prospecti for all the further education establishments. I'm afraid I don't
have the telephone number but it's in the book.

Hi Mark,
This is where I do Classic Car Restoration on Saturdays. They also run
a welding course and a metalwork class.
My course costs 70 for 10 weeks and is excellent value for money. If
you call in they'll give you a list. Alternatively look out for the
list in the Basingstoke Gazette.
