    HELP!!!!!
    
    I'm trying to hire a 12 seater minibus AND driver.
    
    IT's to go from Basingstoke (Viables) to Reading Hexagon (to take a
    bunch of mad beer-swilling nutters to the Rocky Horror Show in April)
    
    
    I've contacted taxi firms who tell me they only have 8 seater buses.
    
    I've also contacted Oakley Coaches who have quoted me 90pounds 
    AND Hampshire Bus, who have quoted me 95pounds for a 24 seater
    (smallest they do)
    
    
    Does anyone out there know of anybody OR any local companies that i
    could contact?

	It would be cheaper to travel by train from Basingstoke to Reading - the return fare is �3.40. You could even get taxis from Viables to the station and be cheaper then the prices you were quoted. It's less than 10 minutes walk from Reading station to the Hexagon. It may be possible to get a group travel discount on the train - 25% off. If some of your group have a Network Card it would be even cheaper - 34% off. jb

	that's a good idea!! I didn't think of that, although someone in the group has offered to drive a minibus if i hire it. Thanks, it's worth thinking about, and certainly cheaper, but will we be safe wearing our underwear on the train???????? pauline

	Ring Martins garage at the Hatch (on the A30). They do the cheapest deals on minibuses. Can't remember the phone number...sorry. Paul (who drove the mighty Viables footie team to Holland and back in a 12 seater minibus...)

	THANKS PAUL, IT IS REALLY DIFFICULT TO FIND A PLACE THAT HIRES BUS + DRIVER, BUT WE HAVE HAD SOMEONE OFFER TO DRIVE. I WOULDN'T MIND GETTING THE TRAIN, BUT I DON'T FANCY WANDERING AROUND READING IN MY UNDERWEAR (NO COMMENTS PLEASE, I KNOW YOU) I'LL GIVE THEM A RING,
