Anybody been to Blackbushe Market recently?

If so did you notice any stalls selling army surplus gear? Especially
    ex-Communist bloc greatcoats?

I was at blackbushe last Sunday and there were 3 or 4 stalls selling army
surplus gear - couldn't tell you about the coats though, I didn't look that
close!

Are the queues bad at the moment? Someone told me that you could drive
straight in a few weeks ago, but the queues can be terrible there.

I went a few weeks ago and the queues were OK. I remember when you
need to queue for 30 mins to get in. Now, its straight through.

529.5Good source of cheap computer games, possiblyFUTURS::SAXBYBorn Again ReincarnationistMon Mar 09 1992 09:4713

    Thanks for the replies.

I went over to the market yesterday, but couldn't find what I was
    looking for.

However, if anyone is looking for computer software give the market
a look. One stall was selling PC (and other, but I've got a PC!) games
for 10 and 13. The 13 games included F117 Stealth Fighter (I think),
    M1 Tank Platoon and Lemmings!

    	Mark,

If you're still looking for East European Army greatcoats, there
is an Army surplus store in Aldershot that was knocking them out
    	before Christmas at 25.

I'll get the address if you're interested.

    	Ian.

    Thanks Ian,

But I live near Aldershot and have tried both the surplus stores which
are in the Yellow Pages (of course, if the one you know is not one of
them let me know!). Neither had exactly what I wanted (whatever that
    is).

Still with spring coming, the need for a warm coat is subsiding.
Perhaps I'll be reviving this note again in December!
