Hi,

Can anyone tell me the name of the big computer games shop in Guildford?

Apparantly it was where Laskeys used to be.

    Err.
    
    Well there're two.
    
    One is upstairs in what I think is called the White Lion Centre (It's
    the shopping arcade between the road with the cobbles and the road with
    the market). This is called Ultima.
    
    The other is in the road with the market (just up from the Friary
    Centre). This is the Virgin Games shop and sells board games as well as
    computer games.
    
    Both are expensive, but have a good choice of games. If you see one 
    particular game in one of the shops, check the price in the other
    before you buy. Some games varied by �10 between the two, but neither
    shop was consistently cheaper.

    There is also a shop in Aldershot (in the shopping arcade there - The
    Wellington Centre?). It's called Software Plus and seems to sell a 
    lot of games (not the very latest, but recent) at reduced prices.
