    Have you been to your Doctor first?

    I can't see how a Hypnotherapist can help memory problems.

    Dougie,

    they can, i'm told, help with all sorts of problems.
    anyway... i found one (i think) in another notes conference...
    all i've got to do now is remember which one...

514.3Stanford Road Medical CentreNEWOA::SCORE_RThu Dec 12 1991 13:0816

    Pete,

    Someone in my family used the one in Stanford Road Medical Centre, for
    quite an extended course. The treatment was partly successful, partly
    not. His conclusion was that the first 8 - 10 weeks was useful, but
    after that was a waste.

    Interestingly enough, the Gazette ran an article about this same
    hypnotherapist a little while ago and concluded that it was effective
    in curing fears/phobias (eg. of spiders) and probably good for smoking
    and weight loss, but the report cast doubts over some other claims.

    Hope this helps,

    Rob.
