    Can anyone tell me what it is they are building on the school field
    next to the A30 and the brighton Hill roundabout?
    
    This burning question has been troubling me for several months now.
    Could they be piling mud up into a takeoff ramp to allow
    the more enthusiastic Basingstoke drivers to enter the Brighton Hill
    roundabout by an aerial route at rush hour or does it have some more
    mundane application like a nuclear bunker for Basingstoke's notery
    public figures??

	They are building a sound barrier. This is so the noise and pollution from the road don't leak into the playing fields and the noise and pollution from the playing fields don't leak onto the road.

	The UV rays from Rich Ansons (nothing to do with me honest guv) sunbed could have damaged my eyes and I needed to install a card on my PC. I wonder if I'm the first person to install a card in a PC, wearing Raybans ? Chris

	Rich tells me that he felt a little sun burnt. Apparantly he rushed home at lunch time, so he could get a 30 min session in under the sunbed.
