Let me guess, you saw some of the prices in our canteen today as well!
Amazing. The prices of some sandwiches seem to have risen by 80%
overnight!
What is going on?

pence or a cheap portion of chippies.

Hi
Here in Snams prices range from 30 pence for the normal stuff to about
90 pence for the Chicken Tikka version.

Here at Viables the prices seem to be about the same as at Snams i.e.
from about 30p for a salad sandwich to 80p or 90p for smoked salmon or
crab salad etc. Rolls are generally 34p to 45p.

Yes, but they all used to under 40 pence before this week, even the
crab or chicken sandwiches. Looks like the good old days are gone 8-]
