Does anyone know where I might obtain a Santa Claus outfit for the afternoon of Tuesday 18th December. I would prefer to borrow but am prepared to rent. Nigel Father Christmas, Kris Kringle or whatever you want to call him. My 2 year old approximates with Vasser Wiswass.

There is a fancy dress hire shop in FLEET. Can't remember the name. Should be in yellow pages. Used to be one in Blasingsmoke, behind the old town hall (RHS), but i belive thats gone now as well.... Richard

There is a shop in reading I happened to pass last night which had loads of festival costumes in the window, including father Christmas outfits. I think it was called something festivals or festival costumes. It is on the Caversham road on the left just before the bridge. Hope it helps. PS directory enquiries gave a Carnival Stores no of 0734 586727!

Hire charge between 15-20 for costumes. They also have santa costumes to buy and beards, and loads of stuff. They let you have the costume for two nights, eg, pick up Thursday, drop off Saturday, or even......pick up Friday, drop off Monday, which I did last week. Have fun, Heather |
