Installed in my home I have a Stannah stairlift that enables an infirm,
disabled or elderly person to get up/down a staircase. As a result of
a recent family bereavement, this is no longer needed and I would like
to find a new home for it.
Despite offering it to my local community help project and various
other organisations (including 210 "Careline"), I am unable to find it
a new home ... even though it would save someone a couple of thousand
pounds on buying a new one.
Do you know anyone who could make use of it? Either an individual or
an organisation. Whilst I am giving the thing away, the new owner will
be required to pay for its deinstallation and reinstallation which will
have to be carried out by Stannah - they will charge in the region of
400.00 to do this.
