Does anyone know of any recycling paper schemes which operate in the Basingstoke area? I had thought of bringing it into work, but I'm not to kean on that idea really. Or come to that are there any charities in Basingstoke that still collect paper, I know not many charities do this now as there is not quite so much money in it but....... Thanks for any thoughts, Helen.

Now don't laugh, but the "Whitchurch and Overton Peace Group" provide the paper recycling scheme in that area. At the moment, I can't lay my hands on a contact name or number, but I'll let you have it tomorrow. | |||||

Digital operates a recycling scheme in most offices. It depends on what type of paper you mean. Before the unfortunate demise of the Crescent, the money raised from their paper recycling was donated to the Woodland Trust. I believe Duncan Surridge this, and I have to admit to having had a hand in arrangements, following my own contact with the Trust. Helping to replace the trees seems like a good idea. |
