352.0. "House Painter?" by UBOHUB::SKELT_J (Julian Skelt @UBO, DTN 843 6067) Fri Sep 14 1990 10:25

      I have a 7 year old mock-Tudor house which needs regular treatment of
      the timber. Can anybody recommend a local painter who does a
      thorough, tidy job? In the past I've done it myself, so if I'm going
      to pay somebody else to do it I don't want to have to clean up after
      them!

      What sort of price should I expect to pay? The house is modern estate
      medium sized, 4 bedroom, integral garage and it's only the dark wood I
      want done (timbers on the front of the house and panels under the
      eaves, not windows). I'd also be interested in recommendations for
      treatments e.g. creosote v. Rentokil v. Ronseal v. Sadolin.

      Julian

    I can thoroughly recommend Nigel Sidey having used him myself
    He lives in Reading and is happy to do work in Basingstoke.
