On 9th and 10th June, the Mid Hants Railway Line special event is
"Meet Gordon and other friends of Thomas the Tank Engine"

Special features over this weekend will be;

	* Faces on all the steam engines

	* Climb on board Gordon's footplate and see how a steam engine works

	* See the Fat Controller inspect Thomas's friends in Ropley Yard

	* Fancy Dress competition 2:30 - 3:30

	* Help paint the longest picture of Thomas's friends

	* Try the 'Thomas' quiz and join in games and competitions

	* Sample one of Mrs Kyndleys teas

	* Non stop Thomas videos

	* Free Lyons Maid ice lollies for children

	* On Sunday, help Watercress William (the railways teddy bear mascot)
	  celebrate his birthday with party games and a puppet show.

All trains carry a licensed buffet, and refreshments are also available at 
Alresford. Their is also a picnic area adjacent to the up platform at Ropley.
There are railway shops at Alresford and Alton stations. Round Trip tickets 
give unlimited travel for the whole day, and Family Round Trip tickets are 
also available.

Train services are;

	Saturday

		2 train service - Hourly 
		First Train 	- Alresford 11.08, Alton 11.20
		Last round trip - Alresford 15.08, Alton 15.20

	Sunday

		3 train service - Hourly, then every 40 minutes
		First Train 	- Alresford 11.04, Alton 11.15
		Last round trip - Alresford 17.00, Alton 16.50
    

A percentage of all ticket sales will be donated to the Wessex Cancer Trust 
Childrens Fund.
