Our local school is having thier summer fair on 16th June and with the
current weather, it looks like being a nice warm day. We would like to
sell ice creams as they are likely to be very popular, but we are
having difficulty getting hold of a freezer or two.
Can anyone help by lending us a chest freezer for the day?
We would be most grateful. I am sure we could organise transport
somehow. The biggest challenge seems to be in finding the freezer in
the first place.

Our local School Summer Fair has borrowed a chest freezer from Iceland
in Farnborough. We have to collect and return it and it must be
returned within 2 days. This is a "freebie", but maybe influenced by
the fact the one of the organising committee works for said company.
We used to get Ice Cream, Hamburgers, Sausages, etc. from Bejam (now
Iceland) on a "Sale or Return" basis, but this has recently been
stopped, but might be worth enquiring.
Good luck for the 16th (our's is on the 23rd).

Thanks. I think someone on my committee tried that, but I'll make sure.
Its amazing what can be accomplished by knowing someone who knows
someone who works for......
