280.0. "Kittens wanted for adoption." by HAMPS::PATTISON_M (_mm_/\_mm_, wot no idea?) Wed Apr 04 1990 10:31

    I am looking for a pair of kittens, preferably brothers/sisters,
    I dont want pedigrees or anything flash, just plain old mixed moggies,
    however I really want short haired kittens, sex is immaterial as
    they will end up getting the 'op' anyway.

    If you have any or know of any which are ready/almost ready to be
    adopted please let me know via :-

    I come from Petersfield and work at Hampshire House so anywhere
    within a reasonable car drive would be O.K.

    Thanks.
    Martyn

    P.S. I must get these cats soon or the wife may give up on getting
    kittens and start wanting BABIES, AAARRRRGGGHHHHHH.....

	Try the CATS PROTECION LEAGUE, they always have cats for adoption.
	They are a charity and do good work for abandoned, strays,lost
	  cats, etc.

	Sorry I can't provide a number, as I'm not in this area, but there
	  should be a local group around.

	Tom.

280.2Still looking...HAMPS::PATTISON_M_mm_/\_mm_, wot no idea?Thu Apr 05 1990 10:468
    I have tried the CPL local branch (Chichester) and they havn't got
    any, neither have the local RSPCA branch, maybe those Toms were
    too tired by the hot summer to do 'the buisness' this year!.

    Thanks anyway, I will try a few more branches of the CPL this week.

280.3Try some VetsLARVAE::REINThe Future is CLEAR...Fri Apr 06 1990 14:316
    If you have tried both the CPL and RSPCA I suggest you contact as many
    Vets as you can as they often rescue abandoned kittens, or know from
    where kittens can be obtained. Finally, a small advert in local stores
    can be an effective way of getting to new owners.
