The Mid-Hants Railway (Watercress Line) will be running all over Easter, with
events for all the family, especially the children.
i) Easter Bunnies at Alresford and Alton
Mini Easter eggs for children
Meet Peter Rabbit
ii) Go on a Bunny Hunt
Details at all stations
iii) Painting Competition (for children under 16)
Design an Easter card and hand it in at Alresford or Alton
stations.
iv) Easter Bonnet Competition
Easter Monday 2.30 - 3.30 at Ropley Station.
Plus of course, steam trains running the 10 miles between Alresford and Alton.
All trains carry a buffet car, and refreshments are also available on
Alresford station. Railway shops at Alresford and Alton stations.
Round Trip tickets are valid all day, Family Round Trip tickets available.
Train services are;
Good Friday
2 train service - Hourly
First Train - Alresford 11.03, Alton 11.17
Last round trip - Alresford 17.03, Alton 17.17
Easter Saturday
2 train service - Hourly
First Train - Alresford 11.08, Alton 11.20
Last round trip - Alresford 15.08, Alton 15.20
Easter Sunday & Easter Monday
3 train service - Hourly, then every 40 minutes
First Train - Alresford 11.04, Alton 11.15
Last round trip - Alresford 17.00, Alton 16.50
