Depends what is between the teams.... I know of one competition where there are about 30 or 40 on each team, with ropes about 200 yards long, and a VERY muddy river in between..... The annual competition ends up with one or two muddy people!! | |||||

A Tug-o-War rope is 26 yards long or 78 feet. 8 people on each team, is the normal, more if you want. |
