Our extensive investigations reveal that if you go to the sports shop in New Market Square and go upstairs to the fishing department then they will be able to help you. Apparently there is someone who works there who is a big wheel in the local angling fraternity. There are various day ticket waters for coarse fishing including Basingstoke Canal. If you are one of those posh gits who wants to slaughter tame trout then there is also provision for you. Nigel | |||||

They've moved! The shop I believe you are after is Astral Sports,
and they are now opposite Halfords - next to Midland Bank, not far
away from New Market Square.
The fishing bit is downstairs now - the same man is there though.

And I ask again...
Did anyone happen to record on VHS, Go Fishing last night on ITV.
Guess who forgot to record THE most important programme of the series
for my husband....(well that's what he said as it was on Barbel and
that's is THE only fish as far he is concerned).
