This may be an odd request but does anyone out there keep gas welding gear that they would be prepared to loan/hire? Having recently bent my 1967 MKII Jag I would like to do a little repair work at home. At present I'm restricted to the use of an old workmate's welding gear in Mapledurwell. Since he is loathe to let his gear leave the premises, I get an ear-bashing from the wife every time I dissapear for the day. If anyone can assist by either loaning the said kit, or recommending a place I can hire it from I would be very pleased. Places that I KNOW don't hire gas welders are: JOYCE'S (Discontinued hiring gas welders) KEYLINE (out of stock) TADLEY TOOL HIRE (out of business) Thanks, Chris Hall (Vaxmail:THESUN::HALL) (ALL-IN-1 to Chris Hall @UVO)
