| Go to halfords and buy the stuff in the aerosol that you put in
car tyres. It goes rock hard and you can ride on it for
miles..........

| Thankyou Suzanne,
The stuff in the can worked a treat.. for a few
seconds. There was a "bang" and the whole lot deflated again. I
guess I'll just have to keep trying...

126.7 | Not a good idea | HEWIE::BRUNNOCK | Try switching it on ... | Tue Mar 28 1989 10:00 | 10 |
| The stuff in the aerosol is for temporarily (sp?) repairing a puncture
until you can get to a garage. Do NOT use it for normal driving and
you should not exceed 30 or 40 mph with a tyre containing the foam.
I think it says all of this on the can but just in case anyone
gets the wrong idea about it. The foam is extremely handy if you run over
a load of nails in the street and get more than one tyre punctured. Saves
you walking to a garage and getting a tow truck.
