124.0. "USA Video -Help !" by RDGE00::PREECE (Just a shallow hole, Moriarty.) Fri Mar 17 1989 09:40

			*H*E*L*P* !*

Does anybody know if Digital possesses, anywhere in the Reading/Basinstroke
area, a video player/monitor to show an American VHS video tape ?

The correct description of the format is NTSC VHS, and, no, it's not the same
as anybody else's VHS - in particular, ours.

I know where I can rent the gear, but that costs money. Surely we own the bits
sowewhere?

Any ideas or pointers gratefully recieved....

    DECpark too - I've certainly seen one where you can change the
    "type" in this way for US format.
