95.0. "Hairdresser recommendations?" by YARD::BADMAN (Food is for Wimps) Wed Feb 01 1989 11:06

I'm suprised no-one has asked about this before, but ...

Can anyone recommend a good hairdresser ?

My hair is such a terrible mess, and I just can't do anything with
    it !!!

    				Jamie.

Well I'll put in a vote for Sharon, in 'Blades', Church St. I'll

    Well , in my opinion,

go to Harry the Hack in the New Market Square...

But beware.... they're only open in the mornings !!!!!

I went to Command Performance in the end, and as recommended in
22.x I had Terry cut it. Probably the best cut I've ever had. Despite
the tremendous odds against him, he succeeded in improving my
    appearance!

    Highly recommended.

Good price, really : 8.50 for a wash and (deeply thought about)
    cut!

95.7Hairdresser at ChinehamLASHAM::DEAN_MTue Aug 15 1989 11:2915
Another one for you - private hairdresser - very trendy.

Goes to people's homes during the day, you go to her's in the evening.

Her name is Alex Pilbrow, tel no. Bas. 52979, address 79a Old Reading
    Road, (towards Chineham).

Costs about #6.50 for a wash, cut and blow wave for a guy.

Book early to avoid disappointment. She gets booked up quite quickly.
Done a few Digits in her time. Best time to call her is between
12.30 and 1.30pm or after say 5pm. Doesn't work Friday nights or
    weekends.

    Happy cutting...
