I don't think this sort of sexist request is appropriate here.
What's wrong with us boy's fish-net stockings?? :-)

Has the flicks in Basingstoke ever show the film as a late nite
feature ?
I have seen the show many, many times over the last few years, but
had only seen the movie (apart from on the TV) once. That was at
the Baker Street flicks in London, where it showed for many years.
The night I went the place was empty, with no audience participation
at all. Therefore, what a surprise on attending my first Rocky show
to find the ad-libs, water pistols, rice throwing, Time-warp etc..
Two weeks ago I noticed the Rocky Horror film on as a late-nite
at the Maybox flicks in Slough. Although not packed, the audience
were just as wild as at the shows.
I have heard that the Maybox has the film regularily, but wondered
if ever happened locally ?

Or are there enough cultists out there for us to organize a private
late night showing (will probably cost money but loads of people
would come) ?
Any comments ?
Chris.

| When the show was on tour, we went suitably attired to both Chichester
and to Winchester - 99% full dress turnout by the audience.
You should have seen the faces of the previously unsuspecting 1%
though!

Thanks for the thought, but unfortunately I don't get to see channel
four much since I moved to the states :-) Same thing happened when
I saw RHPS in Boston, my Dad said the day after I left for vacation
in the states they put it on TV!

Any Rocky fans out there know if there are plans to put Rocky on in the West
End?????
Richard O'Brian stopped the travelling production so he could retain the rights
and put it on in a theatre in the West End. How does he expect people from all
over the country to see it now!!!! The travelling performance will be sorely
missed by a lot of people who will no longer be able to see this magnificant
piece of horror/comedy/sex theatre.
I was at the second to last performance at the Theatre Royal, Hanley, and it
was unbelievable!! The atmosphere was electric, and the cast were out to outdo
each other at every possible moment. Imagine Frank and Brads' reaction when the
screen came up to reveal all in the middle of THAT scene!!! Frank met his
horrific end when Riff-Raff shot him with a banana, substituted for the
laser!!!
Anybody brave enough to try to organise a screening of Rocky in or near to
Basingstoke???
I'll give all the help I can to such a venture (although I'm not sure how much
help that would be!!).
Come on Noters/Rocky-lovers, start the ball rolling with any ideas etc, and we
may all be doing The Time Warp before you know it!!!!!
Steve.
PS. Anyone at the TSC coming in Rocky gear on Friday????
