been squeezed in as a special!!! Usual start time is 11:00.

If you require directions, then please mail me.

Didn't want to start a new topic for this, but its not about
    record fairs!.

I thought I read in some conference that there is a second-hand
record shop in B'stoke called "Timebeat Records"....Church Sq?

Can someone confirm/point me in the right direction please?

    Ta, Ray.
34.2I know where it is!LARVAE::LUCIEMake mine a Pint of ESB!Fri Oct 21 1988 18:2914

Yep Time Beat Records is in Church Square which is by St Michael's
Church. Do you know where Franko's Italian Restaurant is? Do you
know where Marks & Spencer's is?

If so its behind M&S - there is a road that runs along there, as
you drive along that road, hang a right and keep going and TB is
    on your right hand side.

Sorry about lousy directions but not sure of name of road, it might
be Mortimer Lane but don't quote me - I walk pass it every day so
    one never takes any notice!?!?!?

    garden ?

Just curious as to what has changed since I left :-)

re .3 Yep its next door to the memorial garden...

Found it, I could spend _hours_ in there....eventually
came out after 20 mins with an early Steve Winwood album...

        Thanks for the directions.

After reading this note I went to have a butchers and was very
impressed. They have an enormous stock of 2nd hand records in very good
condition & most cost about 3-4. They seem to have plenty of 12" & picture
disks as well. They also sell T-shirts, badges & other merchandise upstairs
although I didn't actually venture there.

I had a choice of three copies of 'Back Into The Future' by Man. I
bought the one for 4 which I thought was good for a double album, the other
copies appeared to be identical in condition but were 8.

If you are *really*, *really* into the Steve Miller Band I saw about
eight copies of 'Book of Dreams'.

	Highly recommended.
