    LIFE nad METROPOLITAN LIFE are using. If anyone knows these packages
    please respond. Also I would appreciate any names of sw packages that
    the world wide known major insurance companies are using. All the

	Hello ALP, I don't know which packages NY-Life and Metropolitan are using, but I can tell you about some packages that world wide known swiss Insurer use (Z�rich-, Winterthur-, Swiss Reinsurance-Group): All three are deep blue IBM-Host Users and use basically MVS/DB2 based systems. Then IAA (IBM's Insurance Application Architecture) build's the application architecture or framework fpr future solutions and developments. Most big insurer develop a big part of their legacy and administration systems by themselves. At the moment there are some "standard" packages, which come up in the market and have big attention and interest from Insurers : COGEN,DDA,CMS,BPMS aso from CONTINUUM COMPANY, Inc Austin, Texas AD/MAX, CAPSIL, LIFE/400, POLISY/400, SICS from PAXUS Corporation Ltd, Sydney,Australia SERIES III from PMSC (Policy Management Systems Corporation, Columbia South Carolina) CIRVIE-7, CIREARD from CIRCEA, Paris France for IBM and BULL aso.
