This looks like an interesting topic, which could lead
to a lot of differing answers. Getting the presentations with
the board is generally the hard bit; once you're in, the
danger is probably giving them too much to absorb, or
information which they don't really need.

So what does your audience want/need to know? If you
have carte blanche, I would go for a selection from:

   1) why business management needs to know about IT

   2) why technology is no longer the main issue, it's total
       business solutions

   3) how cost of ownership and business benefits are impacted by
       the right information strategy

   4) getting the management/organisation right to avoid either
business or DP dominance of the IT function

   5) why Digital's product strategies provide major business
benefits (back to cost of ownership/ flexibility/ solutions/
       change etc.)

   6) what the emerging technologies might do, and how Digital can
       absorb them within its architecture

   7) services available from Digital: Information strategy
planning, TOP consultancy, Applications Consultancy, Cost of
Ownership/benefit analysis, DECSite, DECMove etc etc.

   8) why they should involve Digital/IT in their business planning

   - Coupled with some specific tailoring to their business - what
       are their key issues/concerns/CSFs etc.

Does this sort of list sound like the type of
information they are seeking? There are some "standard"
presentations in some of these areas, but most Digital
business consultants would probably modify these to their own
       style and audience requirements.

Is this what you wanted by way of an answer?
