I am working for a client developing an Underwriting Management System and would like to know if anyone has done a VAX interface to the MIB (Medical Information Bureau). The MIB uses an IBM platform. Currently, transactions are shipped (using an IBM platform), to the MIB in batch mode, processed on the MIB system and Codes are sent back. The client would like to use a VAX to execute and convert the transactions, ship them to the MIB and receive the Codes back. Any comments are welcome! Cherie Snitchler

You might want to contact Chris Mello (DTN 221-5012) who I believe is the rep on MIB. It is my understanding that they have a relatively heavy load of VAXen, and that they have a VAX interface capability. |
