I am helping my customer conduct a search for VAX based solutions
for Pre-Certification and Case Management. If you have knowledge
of such applications being processed on VAX in either Blue Cross
Blue Shield organizations or other major health insurers I need
to know who has the software.

There is a company called Iameter in San Mateo, Ca. that has some
Vax based software that does clinical concurrent review and severity
of illness classification. I don't know how good it is, but it
is the only Managed Care software I found.

You might contact Health Systems International in New Haven
(203-562-2101). I spoke with them some time time ago and at that
time they had a VAX based DRG system and were developing a full
medical case management system for the VAX. Please post the results
of you research on VAXnotes so that we will all know the results.
