The 1988 IASA Conference is shaping up to give you and your

arranged around 12 educational tracks. At the show, over 100 leading vendors
will demonstrate their latest technology, products, and services.
WHAT IS DIGITAL DEMONSTRATING?
Digital will be demonstrating a series of solutions at this show to support
the following theme: Digital has the tools, technologies, and solutions today
that will improve your competitive position, protect your investment in
technology, and position you for tomorrow!
Integrating The Insurance Enterprise Through Customer Service
Digital will be demonstrating customer service capabilities on a VAXstation
2000. As part of this demonstration, attendees will see how a user can access
and update info seamlessly from an IBM mainframe, use VTX videotex to provide
customer service reps with necessary product information, and how ALL-IN-1 can
be used to communicate to agents. Customer service departments having access
to the client information system, videotex, and the IBM policy system
simultaneously will demonstrate a capability not available to the industry
today.
Networking And Seamless Communication
Digital will also be demonstrating VAX/VMS Services For MS-DOS with a VAXmate
and IBM PC. Through this demonstration, attendees will see that communication
between Digital systems and any other manufacturers' systems can be seamless,
and integrated into applications. With this demo atttendees will better
understand that Digital provides compatibility from the desk-top to the data
center.
Exceptional Expert Systems That Contribute To The Bottom Line
With CLUE, running on a VAXstation 2000, attendees will see a demonstration
of a commercial lines underwriting expert system. This CLUE system is
designed to aid in the underwriting of commercial line policies.
