There is a separate note on "Educational Materials," note #30. Let's
use this note (#25) for true research-type materials, and note #30
    for educational and explanatory sources.

Best's, Inc has many additional services besides Best's Review and
the annual comprehensive rating volumes. Among the more useful of
their services are the many databases they keep, and from which
they can selectively extract (for a fee, of course). I have often
gotten specific types of data from them. It is available in many
forms, most usefully in Lotus-format or dBase-format. They will
probably be at IASA, and I will get up-to-date information on their
offerings and will post it here.
