I recently attended a presentation on a software solution called
LEASEPAK, which might be useful to large insurance companies who
have portfolios of leases.
The package makes tracking, analyzing and forecasting lease performance
faster and easier.
Many departments that have lease portfolios are having difficulties
with their "home grown" systems due to the changes in the tax laws.
Prospects should have a portfolio of approx. $25M worth of leased
assets. Leasepak is installed at John Hancock and Safeco in the
insurance industry.

| Yes. The only platform they run on is VAX.

| LEASEPAK is an excellent application. At John Hancock it is integrated
with All-In-1 to provide a complete user environment. It was the
integration that really sold John Hancock Leasing on a DEC/LEASEPAK
solution. We were also able to displace both WANG and IBM and install
an all Digital solution.
