| OK, the TODOLIST.ZIP file in the same directory is updated too now,
together with the SETUP.EXE installation proggy-woggy.
Have at it...

| My PKUNZIP warns me that it doesn't know how to handle any of the files
in TODOLIST.ZIP. Do I need a newer version of PKUNZIP (it's never
caused me problems in the past) or has Keithey done something odd??

| You need a new version of PKUNZIP. Come round and I'll, um, give you
one.

| Can't you, um, put it on the network?

| Mais oui. Ils sont tout dans mon top-level directory. Un
"dir sac::disk$user22:[edmunds]pk*" est un bon idee.
Par la rue, je ne suis pas Francais. ("Road" and "way" are almost
synonyms in English, so it's a safe bet that they are en Francais as
well).

| Problem: setup.exe prompts me to insert disk1 and bombs out because
the files are in c:\tmp, not on a floppy...!

| Thanks S, I'll look into that (glad someone is testing the installation
procedure).

| More problems.
The todolist.zip doesn't contain a tdl.exe. Is this normal?
So I ignored it and copied the tdl.exe from your directory to replace
my old one.
Now virtually nothing works. When I finally got my old tdldata.dat opened
(tdl.exe expects it to be in the same directory as the exe which is not how I
work. I have a d:\susiprog and a c:\susidata) the line items were still
there, but selecting existing notes and phone numbers caused internal errors.
Sad, depressed, in posession of a screwed up database,

| Susi,
Sorry...I'll fix the installation procedure to ask a) where to put the
datafiles and b) where to put the .EXE
Edit your \windows\tdl.ini so that Fileloc in [Setup] points to where
your data files are. Should fix it; if not, call me.

| (Alarmed, you will be...!)
Wish item:
----------
I set an alarm on an item which I had postponed for tomorrow. The
date defaults to today's date, rather than the date on which the
item has to be done. This is silly (I think), since I don't want
alarms to remind me to do something today when I don't have to do
it until tomorrow. Any chance of picking up the scheduled date by
default instead of today's date?
Horrid bug:
-----------
Having finally set my three alarms to go off tomorrow when my to
do list item is scheduled, I decided to do a multiple postpone of
some other items.
Multiple postpone is OK now, except that in postponing my 4 items
it nastily added the aforementioned alarm to all of them!
Another wish item:
------------------
Having spent rather a long time undoing the 12 unwanted alarms on
the 4 items postponed until next week, a quick 'unalarm' option
would have been nice!
Anyway, despite all that, TDL is still a cute little furry proglet.

Yes, I've noticed that too: will do.

Yes...have you also noticed how postponing items sometimes
automagically moved them to a different database too? Nice feature
Keith. Both problems caused by similar things: will fix.
