156.0. "How do I perform multiple queries? (Recall?)" by CINEMX::WLODYKA (LAUREL WLODYKA DTN 269-2279) Wed Jan 18 1989 11:11

    During use of various inquiry screens, I have tried to execute
    more than 1 query at a time. The only way that I've found to
    inquire on multiple parts/Aggs is the exit the screen (CNTRL + Q)
    after each inquiry.

    Is there a better way to perform multiple queries without exiting
    and entering the function each time?

156.1There is a recall function availableESPN::LABBEJulie Labbe DTN 269-2186Wed Jan 18 1989 12:5217
    Effective in Release 1.2 (see 11/9/88 release notes) a "nifty" recall
    function is part of the FMAP software. Directions follow:

    To recall previous criteria (ie. same selections except for Part
    id or Agg name) the following procedure applies. Once all fields
    have been cleared (VT2XX/VT3XX use FIND key, VT1XX use GOLD ,) and
    cursor has returned to the first field, type in new Part id or Agg
    name and - with cursor still in that field - press the DOWN ARROW
    or UP ARROW. This will recall all previous input and, if you used
    the DOWN ARROW, will position the cursor in the finald field --
    (the UP ARROW will position the cursor in the second field). Once
    cursor is in the last field, RETURN will then execute the query.

    Currently, the recall function applies to retrieval screens only;
    recall will be available in report/extract screens in a future
    release.
