| Al, I finally got around to doing some checking. I used part number
LA21X-BT and I ran OTD for Sept and Oct. Here is what I got:
DEC-10 Sept SO quantity at PR level for USA: 46
" " IO " " " " " " 89
DEC-10 total 135
For FMAP on the OD12 screen at SD level for USA I got a quantity of
135 also.
I tried the FV/FA level and for both the DEC-10 and FMAP and I got a
quantity of 136 for USA. I also tried the same part number at PR/SD
level for October, and in both cases I got a quantity of 105 for
USA.
I'm not sure how you got the quantities of 104 and 99 for the DEC-10
for Sept and Oct respectively. Why don't you try again and let me
know if there is still a problem.

Tom, I finally got around to do some more checking on this problem.
First of all I do not need SO/IO split, I need total ships. Using
OP in the PART DATA field should this not give me the total of SO/IO?
I still come up with the numbers I stated earlier.
data type: SHP
expl. lev.: FV
units,price,cost: U
start date: JUL88
end date: NOV88
period: M
part data: OP
ID: LA21X-BT
source data: SR
sink data: GD
loc: USA
This is the info I put in to recieve ships on the 10 system.

Al,
I became confused while reading this note and its replies.
It appears to me that you are comparing DEC10 shipment numbers
to FMAP OTD numbers. It would not be a valid comparision.
The U.S. DEC10 shipment numbers and the U.S. FMAP OTD numbers
are gathered differently. Please consult your User Guide to
see more documented differences.
Shipment numbers on the DEC10 should be compared to shipment
numbers on FMAP. OTD is a new datatype/application on FMAP.

<< What screen should I use on FMAP?
Al,
For shipments, you could use the SH1 screen which displays shipments
for 2-5-2 parts. You could also generate a report (Shipments for
2-5-2 Parts) which could break out the geography for you as you
specified in 150.0 Please see below an example:
