104.0. "Discrepancies using PG2 screen" by ESPN::LABBE (Julie Labbe DTN 269-2186) Wed Nov 23 1988 10:28

    Al Radicioni (223-1551) has been conducting some parallel testing
    this morning. He went into the PG2 screen to retrieve ship plan
    information using the user agg "MONITOR CH", Jul-1988, level: TD.
    When pulling by M, he got data for USA, GIA and EUR. When pulling
    by Q, he got EUR data only. In both cases, the numbers did not
    match the data he pulled off the DEC10 using the same super group
    and the CH explosion level.

104.1Don't Use July Ship Plan PassSHOTIM::COPUSER78Tom MalomoWed Nov 23 1988 15:2522
Al, I did some testing with the aggregation MONITOR CH. On FMAP (COPIS VAX).
There are 2 problems:

1. For the July pass of the Ship Plan on FMAP, we had a problem determining
   the correct Planning Groups. Most Planning Groups should have quantities
   but only some ended up with quantities. We have since corrected the logic
   around Planning Groups but we have not re-run the July pass. Please re-test
   with the August, September or October pass, however, even this will not
   be entirely successful - see item 2.

2. There is a problem with some of the "BOM" records on FMAP. Part numbers
   RA60 AF, RA60 CD and others have a "VR201 A" embedded in them. This is
   obviously incorrect. These "BOMS" have been corrected on the DEC-10
   but not yet on FMAP. If you run Ship Plan for Aug, Sep or Oct (using the
   agg MONITOR CH), the VAX quantities may be quite a bit higher then the
   DEC-10 quantities. We apologize for the inconvience but we are working to
   correct this. As soon as these "BOM" records are fixed, I will send you mail.

If you have any more questions or problems, do not hesitate to contact us.

...Regards - Tom Malomo
