Today I had time to go into "FAP" and pull the ship plans for RA90's. When I compared the numbers from "FAP" (*New) to "COPIS" (*Old) the plans did not match. Both are from the Sept 1988 Pass. Oct Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun *Old(SO) 105 159 210 307 407 462 574 756 842 *New(SO) 105 159 204 301 397 452 564 746 832 Off by 0 0 6 6 10 10 10 10 10 *Old Copis I pulled the information by chart level, SO only, USA all, and the differences are above. The COPIS IO only matched the "FAP" IO only numbers exactly. When I compared the total numbers they were off by the same numbers listed above on the SO ship plans. In the PD3 screen I used: Aggregate Name = RA90, Pass Date = Sep-1988, Month/Quarter = F, Level = TD, Units/Dollars = U, Desired Plan = S, I left Planning Group and Revenue blank, and Geographic Area = USA. Who can help me understand why the numbers are not the same? I beleave the numbers should of matched. When I compared the numbers from the August Ship Plan Pass , they matched. What was done different? I will wait for a reply. Michele Acker

74.1 | RA90 - PD3 Screen Answer | CINEMX::COPUSER78 | Tom Malomo | Wed Oct 26 1988 15:19 | 9 |
Michele, the aggregate function that you selected (PD3) is a detail screen, that is for each part number in the agg, you get a separate screen with totals on it. Try pulling this agg again, when the quantities appear on the screen, look in the upper right hand corner and you will see that it is Page 1 of 2. Go to page 2 and you will see the "missing" quantities 6,6,10,10,10,10,10. Alternatively, if you select function PS3 (instead of PD3) you will get only one screen back with combined totals on it. If you have any questions give me a call...Tom Malomo 269-2411 |
