I'm just completing training and as a part of the lab, I tried to do a retrieval on delqa-sa (PP20) and after waiting 15 minutes finally aborted it. Since I'll be looking at this (and about 60 other parts each month) is there anyway to speed this up? Wes Vinecombe 282-1701

Wes, I just tried the same query on PP20 using DELQASA for Q1 F89 for TD and got the figures in 10 seconds. My suggestion is to try more queries and when you get a very slow one let me know immediately. Harry 269-2280 | |||||

Harry, Wes and I were in the same COPIS users class, and he ran the query on DELQASA and I ran one on another of our products and it was at around 11:00 in the morning and I had the same problem. Since then we have tried running inquiries from WJO and the response time has been so slow we did them on the DEC-10. I also noticed that when you wrote your reply to Wes's note, it was 5:50 PM, when there are fewer users on the system, thus the response time should be quicker. Linda Keiran |
