Milton,
Thank you for your valuable input. A view of a 12-month (or
20-month) ship plan is a current requirement being considered.
I will report back to you on the timing of that development and
also on what will be the available cuts within the next few days.

| We do expect to provide downline loading to Copis users. Files
will be in the same format as the one (s) you downline load today, so
end users will not have to change any programs. The exact date
when this will be available is not determined yet, but we are aware
that downline loaders are anxious for this functionality. Watch
for further news in the Message of the Day.

| I wish to second the concern regarding downline loading.
Is there any effort to have this available once the old
machine is turned off in favor of the new?
The concern here is that without it (downline loading) that
we will be faced with data entry of somewhere in the neighborhood
of 8640 numbers, and that's not even considering the 20 month plan
at this point.
Another impact is one of productivity in that my process time of
the Ship Plan is around four hours. Without the downline process
I am faced with the possibility of a 12 to 16 hour process time.

For all copis users who are concerned about the availability
of downline loading....We will NOT turn off the Dec 10 until downline
loading is available. We hope to be in test mode in two to three
weeks.

Downline loading is now available through the menu option DEXT for single
report requests. The file format is listed in detail in the DEXT (Section J)
of the User's Guide.
