Note 9.0 Prob clearing fields AND curious response No replies

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Just ran into a curious happening while in the PA1 screen;

    I had filled out the first field, and while cursor was in the second
    field (I'd filled that one out too), I hit the NTER key (I'm working
    on a VT100). This triggered a quer and I got a response with all
    zeros based on the two pieces of criteria I'd put in to that point.

    I then tried to clear the fields. Nothing would work. I tried
    GOLD , (the equivalent of FIND on a VT2++), PF3, and PF4.  I got
    the same message with all: "one or more required fields...."

    Gold Q'ing out was my only alternative.

    Was there something different I could have done to clear the fields?

9.1ENTER key will execute a query on VT200 series terminalsCINEMX::COPDEV61Wed Sep 21 1988 15:0410
    Julie,

    On a VT240, the PF3 key will clear an individual field.
    When you pressed ENTER, a query was executed - the information
    displayed was probably garbage.

    Remember that a SET QUERY will clear the entire form and
    place the terminal in query mode.
