  The following replies to this topic define when the data files for TPAS  
  are made available. Also noted are that MLP and STD Cost adds and changes
  to the APPIX/CPRS database.

 TPAS$DB - SQL Extract File

      o	LAST FISCAL WEEK (4 or 5) - DAY 5 (Thursday)  - 05:00 EST

 	Corporate Tax maintains the TPAS Database.
	The data is validate monthly for accuracy and an extract file 
        is created for sites to pull. 

        Corporate Tax may update and create new database extracts
	at any time. When a new extract is made available a mail
	notification is sent out. The TPAS_COPY_MNTHLY.COM can
	be run daily if desired, as it copies files based on 
	serial numbering. 

	The TPAS$DB contains the PRICING_TABLE,	DISCOUNT_TABLE,
           TRNSFR_AREA_TABLE, GEOPTL_AREA_TABLE, and XCHNG_RATE_TABLE.


	Sites will pull the extract file by executing:
                             TPAS_COPY_MNTHLY.COM
	supplied in the VMS install kit. This copy is serial number
        controlled, so only the newest file will be copied.
                                         
	Once the file is pulled over sites can populate their TPAS$DB using:
                           TPAS_SITE_IMPORT_DB.COM
	also supplied in the VMS install kit.

	Sites are free to modify these command stream to fit their own
	production standards. 


**** Note that all accounts doing the TPAS_COPY_MNTHLY  
     procedure MUST have proxy access into the
     ACADMY cluster. Instructions for this are given in the installation
     documentation.

      o	LAST FISCAL WEEK (4 or 5) - DAY 7 (Saturday) - 22:00 EST


 	Corporate Cost Accounting supplies the APPIX organization the
	stockroom data. The APPIX Organization then creates an extract
	file for sites to pull. 
	The TPAS$STKRM_DB contains the STOCKROOM table.

	Sites will pull the extract file by executing:
                          TPAS_COPY_STKRM_MNTHLY.COM
	supplied in the VMS install kit. This copy is serial number
        controlled, so only the newest file will be copied.
                                         

	Once the file is pulled over sites can populate their TPAS$DB using:
                        TPAS_SITE_IMPORT_STKRM_DB.COM
	also supplied in the VMS install kit.

	Sites are free to modify these command streams to fit their own
	production standards.

      o	LAST FISCAL WEEK (4 or 5) - DAY 5 (Thursday)  - 05:00 EST

 	This file is created from data supplied by the Digital Revenue
	and Certs (DRC) organization. 
	When a new extract is made available a mail notification is sent out.
        The TPAS_COPY_NOR_MNTHLY.COM can be run daily if desired, as it copies 
	files based on serial numbering. 

	The TPAS$NOR$DB contains the NOR_TABLE.


	Sites will pull the extract file by executing:
                             TPAS_COPY_NOR_MNTHLY.COM
	supplied in the VMS install kit. This copy is serial number
        controlled, so only the newest file will be copied.
                                         
	Once the file is pulled over sites can populate their TPAS$NOR$DB using:

                     MLP/DSPS/APPIX/AMPs Update Schedual

                        MLP Adds and Changes to APPIX


DSPS MLP Updates:

        MLP adds can be done anytime, though DSPS tries to batch weekly
        on Mondays. The adds are for those parts that have zero MLP. 

        MLP changes are done quarterly - unless approved for mid-quarter.
        They are done on the 1st Monday of the fiscal month. The changes 
        are for those parts that have a current MLP greater than zero.

        There is an MLP change policy.

        Since DSPS closes on Thursday, any adds/changes that have a Friday or 
        Monday effectivity date are included in Thursday nights's file.

APPIX MLP Updates:

        APPIX receives DSP Files:           Tuesday thru Saturday Morning
        APPIX Updates on:                   Tuesday thru Saturday Evening
        AMPS files arrive in sites:         Wednesday thru Sunday Mornings

       MLP monthly changes:
        As DSPS does the MLP changes on:     1st Fiscal Monday 
        APPIX receives these changes on:     1st Fiscal Tuesday morning 
        APPIX Updated on:                    1st Fiscal Tuesday evening
        AMPS files are received at sites:    1st Fiscal Wednesday morning

Standard Cost: 

        Standard Cost adds occur daily to the APPIX database. The adds are for
        those parts that have zero standard cost. 

        Changes to standard cost occur monthly in month end processing. 
        The changes are for those parts that have a current standard cost 
        greater than zero. 

	Changes can only occur to parts that have had a new standard set 
	within 90 days, all other standards are frozen.

APPIX STD COST Updates:

       Std Cost adds:
        APPIX receives Std Cost File:       Monday thru Friday Evening
        APPIX Updates on:                   Monday thru Friday Evening
        AMPS files arrive in sites:         Tuesday thru Saturday Mornings

       STD Cost monthly changes:
