Hi Lois, I have sent you a list of bill-to codes which we used in our systems but missing in TPAS databases. I know that you have forwarded my list to either Tracy Walker or Barbara Wilfand. Well I am still waiting response from any of one of them. We have finance people here are increasingly concerned about the issues of missing bill-to codes in TPAS-2. They worry that if our systems call TPAS-2 and TPAS-2 cannot calculate MTP, MLP because the bill-to codes we used in our systems are not known in TPAS-2. Then we won't be able to create invoices for those orders. Even we can ask Corporate Tax to add those missing bill-to codes in TPAS$DB, but we will still have to wait next time when TPAS databases are populated and updated in our local databases. Meanwhile we still cannot create invoices because of unknown bill-to codes. So here are my questions: 1. Is there any TPAS tool or program which allows user to add billing codes to TPAS databases for a temporary period of time? 2. Is there any function or report program that enables user to inquire existing billing codes, discount %, MTP, etc ? If this function is not currently available, can you send me an updated report on bill-to codes, discount %, MTP, etc. These are the missing codes I sent to you earlier: 0002421 0002433 0002455 0002487 0002493 0002499 Regards, Andy

Please refer to note 79.3. Unless you provide us with the "owner" of the Bill To code we have no way of researching the omission. As I replied in note 79.3 you can reach me via this notes files or at POWDML::WALKER or Tracy Walker @MSO. Regards, Tracy Walker
87.2 | To add Trnsfer Areas - must go through Corp Taxa | AWARD::MAGNI | Lois, 237-5548 | Tue Apr 25 1995 11:39 | 25 |
Andrew, Tracy Walker and Barbara Wilfand will work with you and your finance people to identify these subsidiary billing codes. But to answer your other questions: > 1. Is there any TPAS tool or program which allows user to add billing > codes to TPAS databases for a temporary period of time? No. The only way for transfer area codes to get on the TPAS Database is through Corporate Tax. > 2. Is there any function or report program that enables user to > inquire existing billing codes, discount %, MTP, etc ? When the TPAS Inquiry is released this will provide the users with inquiry access to all the TPAS and NOR tables. This system utilizes Remote ACMS. You should be able to create reports via SQL, RALLY or DTR, accessing your local TPAS$DB. All the table layouts can be founds in the user doc. Regards, Lois
