86.1Invalid because of missing data therefore can be distributedAWARD::MAGNILois, 237-5548Thu Apr 20 1995 12:2017
Charley,

A part is invalid on the CPRS/APPIX Database if one of the following
six fields are missing:

	Part #
	Part Desc
	Part Type
	Make/Buy Cd
	UOM
	Std Actual

If any of this data is missing then the part is mark 'not approved for
distribution' or inotherwords, not yet a valid part according to the required
data standards.

This is a TYPO ! It Should say "PRICING" not 'processing'.
Can you send me that part that gave you this error ? I really had to
work hard to force this error to occur.

The type will be put on the SPR list.

86.4Full description of error pleaseAYRMIS::LSS055::CharlesIf you can't knit bring a book!Wed Apr 26 1995 04:3416
Lois,

This is from the TPAS V3.2 User's Guide Appendix A. We are designing an
exception handling routine to deal with each type of error returned. As we
couldn't figure out what this meant we didn't know what to do with it.

Please provide a full description of the error in same format as Appendix
A.

I ass(u)me that this indicates invalid data on the database, ie user action
is to contact APPIX support???

86.5check local dbs first then call supportAWARD::MAGNILois, 237-5548Wed Apr 26 1995 12:3919
Charley,

I thought you actually had this error, glad to hear it only came out of
the appendix. We do verify the database prior to sending it out so that
this error should not be seen, unless the site database is corrupt or has
been edited locally.

Your assumption is correct. It is invalid data. The local IM&T support
should look at both the TPAS$DB and TPAS$XCLDD_DB
PRICING_TABLE.PRCG_TRNSFR_PRCG_CD. This field should be either S,D,M,O,N.
If it isn't and it's on TPAS$DB, then re-pull the RBR file from ACADMY.
If it isn't and it's on TPAS$XCLDD_DB, change it using
TPAS$ROOT:[EXE]TPAS_XCLDD.EXE.
If the problem is still there after doing the databse refresh/change,
call APPIX Support.

Regards

Lois
