81.0. "Ruling "M" and standard cost error (?)" by ELIS::HOOG (On error then RTFM) Thu Mar 23 1995 11:38

    We have found another (strange) difference between TPAS I V2 and TPAS
    II V3 (with TPAS$SEND_LOCAL_STD is set to "N") with regard to obtaining
    the standard cost. Sometimes TPAS II V3 (with TPAS$SEND_LOCAL_STD is
    set to "N") returns the error "NO STD COST Found from
    TPAS_GET_LOCAL_COST FILE" although the ruling used is ruling "M" (and
    thus no standard cost required)! In this situation the call to TPAS I
    V2 is successful, as well as a call to TPAS II V3 with
    TPAS$SEND_LOCAL_STD set to "Y".

    To show the different behavior we have done some tests using the
    DEMOSITE programs with the following data (screen captures follow after
    the page-break):

	stockroom from: 610
	stockroom to  : 820
	part no       : BA355-MA -> AMPS MLP : 1559.00
	                            AMPS STD : 0.00
				    Local STD: 0.00

    Here are the results:

	Andre, This is an SPR. The change code now calls for the local standard cost if the corporate std cost is zero AND the TPAS$SEND_LOCAL_STD is 'N. It will error out if the local std cost is zero even if it is not needed. Lois
