You may want to modify the copy command in TPAS_COPY_NOR_MNTHLY.COM from $ COPY/LOG .... to $ SPOOL COPY/NOTIFY=MAIL=(node::account) ..... Ayr has done this and the copy time was decreased from 7 hours to 1 hour. Lois

Hi Lois and T-passers, I havn't actualy modified the com files I just did a test to see if it was faster (which it was). Also spool (FTSV) is more reliable when moving big files over the network. The only draw back to spool is that the job runs in batch and you don't know when it finishes, however there is a /post_function which could run another com file to do any additional work. To implement spool you probably need to split the com file up somehow. TA! Charley |
