Hello I have to define a possible architecture for a customer who needs to modify the boot rom of the KAV30. Questions: - how to get the sources? - what languages are they written? Thanks a lot /Aldo

Hi, you won't get the sources, since this contains VAX boot code (VMB), which is for restricted use only - it is written in VAX macro. Nevertheless we have done several modifications for different customers, so if you describe the specifics of your needs, you can get an offer from Digital-PCS to modify it. Also you won't get any warranty or support if you modify the KAV30 boot code or diagnostics by your own (neither does the customer get support...) Don't misunderstand me, we are absolutely willing to help you, just give us the technical details and we'll see what we can do! best regards, Thomas | |||||
