RE: ROM based KAV30 diagnostics. When starting at address 20080054 ( ROM based test for VSB/VME) we see the message VSBIRQIRUPT. There is no detail of this message in the help section starting at 20080058. Are there any detailed diagnostic information or ROM based diagnostic listings avilable that would give further detail? Hi Steve, I doubt if looking at the diagnostic listings would help much. The VSB IRQ Interrupt message is displayed when the KAV30 handles a VSB interrupt. Do you have a VSB backplane connected? From experience, there are a number of VMEbus cards that use the undefined (by the VMEbus spec) pins on the P2 connector, some of the pins that these cards used are defined as part of the VSB spec. It might be possible that you have one of these cards in your configuration. It might be useful if you could supply details of your configuration. Graham | |||||

Graham, I have passed the details to the customer re 94.1. The customer is happy with the answer and has given him a good idea of what to look for. Thank you, Steve Wibrew |
