88.0. "How Do you set the baud rate, to 19.2KB?" by PRLUDE::FRANCIS () Mon May 17 1993 20:07

I have seen the earlier note on setting the baud rate in VAXELN.
But it didn't say real how. So how do you set the baud rate on the KAV30 to
19.2KB?

Thanks,

Keith

88.1How to set terminal line baud rates etc.EICMFG::CUSHNIETue May 18 1993 16:0121
Hi Keith,

As stated in the previous Note, the console Baud rate can only be set
from within your VAXELN system or application software for the KAV30
target hardware.

The baud rate can be changed by assigning the serial ports to
the Serial device driver, SCNDRIVER, and entering a terminal description
for each terminal, together with the required terminal characteristics.

The terminal characteristics can also be modified from within user
application software using the DDA facility implemented by VAXELN
for Direct Device Access to Serial Line devices - See VAXELN Manual Vol 7,
Device Driver Guide, Chapter 6 Terminal drivers for full details.

Hope this helps.

Regards

John Cushnie.
