My customer Philips has tested the KAV30 and ran into a bus time-out
problem, when using Philips VME boards.
It seems, that the KAV30 expects a signal back with-in 20usec.
Most VME boards have no problem with this time limit except for the Philips
boards.
VME has not specified a maxium time-limit.
My question: can we provide a list of VME boards of wich we know, that
works fine with the KAV30?

Hi Henk,
The following VMEbus modules were used to test the KAV30 here in
Munich:
CES FIC 8230 M68020 cpu module
CES DPM 8241 VMEbus / VSB dual-ported memory module
CES DPM 8242 " " " " "
MVME 340A Motorola timer module
MVME 335 Motorola serial line controller
Additionally, our field test sites have successfully used the following
modules with the KAV30:
MVME 242 Motorola VMEbus / VSB memory module
FORCE serial line controller
