This past summer, Lockheed returned around 30 Euclid licenses to Digital.
These licenses where purchased from Matra, by Digital and then resold to
Lockheed. The end result is that Digital (ESG) now owns then, and is free
to use them internally or resell them externally.
Rakesh Kumar and Jeff Simon are looking for internal people who would like
to purchase them from ESG. The cost is only 38.25% of Matra's list price.
They have also told me that they may be willing to negotiate a delayed
payment for a few months for a group that has a need but will not have
the money in the budget at this moment.
There are at least 5 and as many as 30 of each license type available.
