A person in my group is questioning whether or not he should switch
from UGII to Euclid for use as a 2-D drafting package. Can someone
answer the following questions for him?
1) Is there a border complete with DIGITAL logo available or
does he need to create one himself?
2) Does Euclid have the capability to differentiate between
model drafting lines and dimension lines by intensity?
3) Is there someone he could contact to gather opinions of the
Euclid drafting package?
Thanks,
Sally.

We are almost finished creating all the DEC formats in BXB , page 1 ,
continuation ,page 1 with sheet metal notes , page 1 with plastic
notes in most sizes . These should be available to all in a week or so.
We would not recomend using Euclid for 2 D drafting only , it has
no real advantages. The reason for using Euclid is the solids not
it's 2 D drafting. There are still some minor limitations to the
drafting package that Bob Corrigan presented at the last internal
users meeting.
For the best first hand experiance your drafter should contact Bob
at TRITON::CORRIGAN .
Thanks Charlie
