    Conversions between DDM ( CALMA ) and EUCLID.

    Hi, 

    We have a customer who wants traslate meccanical drawings (1000/1500)
    between DDM (Calma) and EUCLID.

    Does anybody have experiences interfacing DDM with EUCLID ?

    Particularly I would  know if :

    - Does exist a Direct traslation ?
    - Is it possible to traslate drawings utilizing IGES ?


    I analized ten significat drawings DDM :

    The entity not supported by IGES pre-processor are :

    I have thought to start with IGES because are used only simple 
    geometric entities and only few entities are not supported, but
    my personal experience I've had in tring to read DDM IGES files
    into Euclid has not been good.

    Only a little part of the drawing has been possible traslate, on 
    the other hand I've had success to read  CV IGES files into Euclid, 
    then I think the procedure to obtain the file IGES is not correct or
    the pre-processor IGES (rel. 3.0) of DDM is not good.

    Does anybody have experiences about it ?
